i have a feeling that eventually sherie renee scott will play this part...she and idina have replaced each other in the past (sherie in rent, idina in aida)...or one of the many ameris' or maureen's

Sherie played Maureen in "Rent"?! I didn't know that.

re: Who's the next Elphaba?

Fine... if you wanna do the Idina/Amneris/Wicked connection... then next in line is... LISA!!!!!!

re: Who's the next Elphaba?

I love Lisa Brescia, but I don't think she'd make a great Elphaba.

If you do it quickly enough, luvwicked will never have to know!!

re: Who's the next Elphaba?

lol. I'm not saying that she's bad. Lisa Brescia is absolutely amazing. I saw her in her in the tour of AIDA. I just don't think she could pull it off. That's all.

re: Who's the next Elphaba?

Lisa could be a great Galinda though. Actually, Amneris and Galinda are both really similar characters in a lot of senses, so I think anyone who did a good Amneris could be a good Galinda.

But by that logic, I guess Idina should play Galinda? That would be a first!

Seriously though, Lisa as Galinda. Cool.

re: Who's the next Elphaba?

No way, her voice is much better suited for Elphaba.

Thanks Tiff for the input... it kept my mind of of EdenLover and her support for that hidiodious show.

Well first of all, I'm a guy. Second of all - EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO THEIR OWN OPINION re: Who's the next Elphaba?. I love ya though

re: Who's the next Elphaba?

ok fine EdenLover- convo over.... Andrew warned me not to fall into my dark place again.

Moving on....

re: Who's the next Elphaba?

I'm confused. What hideous show is EdenLover supporting? Or am I just really thick and you're referring to Wicked?

re: Who's the next Elphaba?

I'm not referring to any show really. I know "Brooklyn" is suppose to be just absolutely horrible. I haven't seen it though. I'm supporting Eden. I love Eden.

re: Who's the next Elphaba?

If you really love Eden, get the to change the sound design, if only for "Once Upon a Time". I was at the show last night, and not to sound like I'm bashing Eden, but that song left me completely unimpressed, which I'm attributing to the sound. I mean, watching this girl belt G#'s from the second row should have been a little more exciting, but after she finished, I was just kind of like...."Oh. That was 'Once Upon a Time'. OK..."

So yeah, get them to fix that, if you really want to help her out.

re: Who's the next Elphaba?

Well I don't think I'll be able to do that and I'm sorry that you didn't feel anything after she sang "Once Upon a Time".

re: Who's the next Elphaba?

The replacement of Ms. Menzel won't be noticed by the majority of the paying audience, as they have no idea who she is anyway.
#48

re: Who's the next Elphaba?

How about...Mandy Gonzalez! Someone give the girl an audition!
#49

re: Who's the next Elphaba?

Ashlee Simpson... then they can pump Idina Menzel's voice in for lead vocals.

re: Who's the next Elphaba?

And then magically when Elphie's supposed to be singing "I'm Not That Girl" you'll get an encore presentation of the "Wizard and I."

Ooops.
