re: Who's your favorite character from RENT?

Joanne is both my favorite character and the one I can relate to the most. She's a bit uptight and has a lot of responsibilities to juggle, yet she enjoys and appreciates being around those who are more free-spirited.

Welcome to the board No_Day!

Roger is my favorite character because he has such a deep well to climb out of, and he finally does. It's inspiring.

And xM3, I love that you nicely pointed out the search feature thing instead of jumping his/her case like some would have. Very cool.

I go back and forth sort of depending on where I am in my life and who I can best relate to.

Most recently it has been Mark.

You took mine, Atrias. Who doesn't love the squeegee man? Well apart from the squeegee man, my favorite character would have to be Roger.

The Man and/or Bag Lady. She kicks ass.

OH, you mean the MOVIE? Joanne! She's the one I can relate to the most, AND Tracie Thoms totally blew me away in the part.
Why does every one have a sarcastic, yet witty signature besides me? :-(

re: Who's your favorite character from RENT?

My favorite characters are Mark and Joanne.

I relate mostly to Mark, because he's the one hiding his emotions when they're eating him up inside, and he watches everyone to try and figure them out. I also relate to being the only one in a group without a "significant other". :)

I remember days
Or at least I try
But as years go by
They're sort of haze
And the bluest ink
Isn't really sky
And at times I think
I would gladly die
For a day of sky

hahahaha-- last time i went to see rent, i told the Enrico that he has one of the best roles-- and then later my friends and i were talking with Mayumi and my friend asked her if her top ever fell off and shes like 'you know i always think about what i'd do if that would happen, and i guess i'd just keep on dancing'. Oo, and I also really like Gordon, poor guy.

Mine goes this way:
Angel
Collins
Mimi
the rest fairly evenly :)
"Are we a thing?" "Darling, we're everything."

re: Who's your favorite character from RENT?

I admire Angel and Collins the most, but can relate to Mark, by far the most. I even have an Alexi Darling in my life! (I mean someone with that personality, not with her name!)

My favorite characters are Mark, Collins, and Angel. I can probably related to Collins the most, because I'm a cynical geek at heart as well. re: Who's your favorite character from RENT?
