I thought she was rather charming. I think a lot of it the new(est) nose.
Really? I guess it's ok, but after all this, I would have expected better.
I still can't believe she's a country singer for real. It just seems so fake to me. The titles are so clichéd. Giddy on Up. Achin' and Shakin'. It sounds like something that would have come out in the Garth Brooks era.
You guys obviously hate her. Why post about her, then? Just forget about her. She clearly doesn't need you as her fans judging by how successful she is. I'm not talking about this thread alone. I'm talking about in the past what you all have said about her.
I thought the interview was hilarious. She and Chelsea had great chemistry. Maybe I'm biased because she's my friend, but whatever. It hurts seeing these awful things said about her.

Hmmmm. Maybe...
Okay? She lives near me and we're friends. Believe me or don't, I don't give a ****.

He was refering to the "biased" part of your post, not the "friend" part.
Besides, only three types of people would react the way you did to Phillis's very tame post. Stans (does LBB have any of those yet?), sockpuppets, or people in her personal circle.
Here we go again with the LBB hate. Sad. Very pathetic.
I have yet to watch it. It's on my DVR, so I shall be checking it out when I get the chance, among the rest of my crazy life this week.

You mothereffers need to learn what hate actually is. Jeeeesus.
We have someone here who has been a member for ten days talking about rampant LBB hate and then we've got people like allofmylife who never met a sting of pearls he couldn't clutch. The only "hate" (if we are going to stretch the definition like you two bitches have) is you two!
I said she was charming in the interview. And I complimented her latest nose. If that's offensive, then blame her for getting multiple nose jobs!

Good lord. She looks like she's been to the Heidi Montag school of "make-up".

Poor thing looks like one of her false eyelashes has come undone in one of the photos that Phyllis attached.
In all honesty though, she displays a lot more personality as a country singer than she did playing the Wood character in Legally Blonde (which also wins the award for the most accurate character name in a musical ever).
The picture with the eyelash coming off was probably posted on Broadwayworld, as the photographers seem to do their best to accentuate every flaw in a close-up photo.
As for LBB, she was radiant on Chelsea. She is her own person, which I like alot. She is not some cookie cutter virginal Taylor/Miley crap. She is a red blooded woman who sings (and yes she can really sing well and live) about love, sex, booze, and joy. Her CD is awesome. She's a true talent. Anyone who brings Chelsea a bottle of vodka is a good sport and a pro.
OMG, that is so true Betty. In every photo shoot that BWW posts the people look horrible.
I think it must be the lighting, but wow! Did you see the pic of Justin Bartha from a few weeks ago? He is so adorable and yet he looked like an absolute psycho (those eyes...brrrr) with a skin disease.

Broadwayworld's photographers have a knack for making stars look awful-bad angles, bad lighting. Plus, its almost as if they dump the entire contents of their camera online with no editing or looking at the photos. (I am counting the minutes until this thread gets deleted.)
Frankenstein!
I don't think I've ever posted about Laura Bell Bundy on the boards before, so I don't know why I was categorically accused of hating her.
And as someone who actually listens to country music, I disagree that she is somehow inherently better than Taylor Swift just because she sings about alcohol and sex. Most of country music is about alcohol and sex; that doesn't make her anything special, and Gretchen Wilson did it better.
When I hear her song on the radio, it sounds like a parody of country music, as if a composer who doesn't really know country music was told to write country songs and came up with this. I know she says she's "always" wanted to do this, but there's something wrong when an American Idol winner's music sounds more authentic than hers does.
Gretchen Wilson, seriously? Her brand of sexuality seems designed to please male country fans.
