Posted: 4/29/06 at 6:20pmOut of the five I've seen (Heather, Paulette Ivory, Simone, Toni Braxton and Angela Williams at Ogunquit), I'd have to say Heather. She just had it all, no one else really comes close to comparing. She's followed by Angela Williams, who was an absolute delight and needs to find her way to Broadway.

Heather is amazing, sadly I never saw her in NYC.
In the tour I saw Paulette Ivory and Simone. Didn't like Simon, she bugged me, but Paulette was good. So I'd say Paulette, but I'd prob. say Heather if I had seen her.

Posted: 4/30/06 at 2:40amDeborah Cox -- I saw her in the role 3 times and her "Gods Love Nubia" in the final performance of AIDA was absolutely STUNNING.

Heather.
followed VERY closely by Schele, who I adored.
Deborah was eh. Michelle. LOVE her. did not love her Aida.
some of the others were ok. Not too huge a fan of Maya, but she was ok. Simone was good. Saycon was ok...

Heather!
And virtually almost every opened-ended show closes due to ticket sales.
