I heard Norbert will do the L.A. run. I heard about the actor who plays Lawrence but the name escaped, but if you search the past thread he should be there. If Norbert will be in LA, I'll try to see it!

According to the thread, Keith Carradine is the person you're thinking of, but I have not heard anything confirmed.

I think Keith is confirmed not just for the LA run but the entire tour run. Norbert may not be confirmed yet but I think it's a wise move to do LA run if he wants to do TV gig/audition.

i don;t think Norbert will do it.

I know who is playing Christine but I cannot say.

It has been said that Norbert is not doing the tour....

But....

Christine Pedi on Sirius announced yesterday that he was - that Norbert was doing the tour with Tom Hewitt. Seth Rudetsky seemed to think that John O'Hurley was the Lithgow/Pryce role.

We'll see. Either way they were speculating, but with what seemed to be some facts behind their statements.

John O'Hurley could pull it off re: Who will be in L.A. production of Scoundrels?

Although John Lithgow will always be the best Lawrence and the man I think of in the role, I am glad Johnathan Pryce got a chance.

EDIT: I'd like to see John O'Hurley get a chance because I love him, too. I'm confused. So what is up with him and the tour? Someone said this, someone said that... What is the truth?

John O'Hurley's not doing the tour. He may be hosting Family Feud, but not the tour...

What are the dates that the tour will be in LA? Norbert's leaving the 16th. I know if he were to do the tour, he would have to leave earlier, so I'm curious how far into the run it is.

re: Who will be in L.A. production of Scoundrels?

There is still a lot of speculation at the moment. From what I heard, they are NOT going for big names for the tour. John Hurley is out. I personally hope for Tom Hewitt.

Oh and Wickedobsessed, be very careful. I've been attacked for dropping name on this board for this tour because god forbid, suggesting a name is so taboo here (sarcastic tone noted). I quote: "The producers have their reasons blah blah blah". Just a heads up before you get similiar PMs.

re: Who will be in L.A. production of Scoundrels?

Christine Pedi just said for sure that "I just found out that my good friend Tom Hewitt will be in the touring company of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. He'll be the tall, good looking one."

She sounded pretty sure about it, so hopefully we'll hear something official soon.

Tom Hewitt and Norbert Butz are in the tour.

Man. What a flip-flopper.
I'm still bummed that my job in San Francisco starts literally a day before the tour goes through LA (my hometown) - the exact same thing happened when I had to leave NY a day before Drowsy started previews. ARGH.
