Yeah, but I think once the Marquis opened up, it became more probable that the show would return to it. Plus there was a short article in the Times in which a producer of both MINSKY'S and WHITE CHRISTMAS said they were in the early stages of considering but it was a definite possibility. I doubt the Times would run an article about speculation like that unless it was more probable than possible.
Plus isn't there speculation that BEAUTY AND THE BEAST may be coming back for a limited Christmas engagement at the Lunt? Or was that just made up by someone?

Posted: 8/16/09 at 7:05pmNo not started by someone. I know former cast members that have been contacted by the mouse -- they're hoping to produce a "Christmas friendly" B&B with a whole new Christmas scene/song. Scoff at if you'd like, but there will be an announcement come October.

Posted: 8/16/09 at 9:14pmYes, Adams Family is taking over the Lunt, but I will totally eat my words in October if there's no announcement about this new B&B Holiday Engagement. Since The Grinch is playing LA this season, there's a prime void for a family holiday show besides White Christmas geared for children to be filled.

Up until 9 TO 5 officially posted their closing notice, WHITE CHRISTMAS had booked the Lunt preliminarily.
If any other project is going there between THE LITTLE MERMAID and THE ADDAMS FAMILY, it will have had to have come to fruition recently.
