Posted: 8/16/09 at 10:38pmI've heard some speculation about Disney doing a holiday version of "Nightmare Before Christmas."

Posted: 8/16/09 at 10:57pmI don't understand how a limited holiday run of BATB would be remotely possible. There's only six months between TLM closing and the previews of The Addams Family (actually less than six months to account for rehearsals/tech), would they really throw BATB in there for the interim period? And if that's what their planning, why wouldn't there have been announcements? Most tourists heading to NYC for the holidays probably already have their trip planned and purchased tickets to shows.

Posted: 8/16/09 at 11:20pmYou know what's going to happen. They are going to bring it back for a limited engagement for the holidays, then it's going to be a HUGE success so they make it an open-ended run and last another 13 years.

LoveIsCompany --- What theatre are they looking at? haha jk. Though the only theatre that seems like an option would be the Marquis, which then implys White Christmas isn't happening. Come to think of it, has the White Christmas return engagement been proven anything more than a rumor?
Regardless of theatres, I still think its dumb planning by Disney to wait till October to announce a holiday show.

Considering the fact that we know that there is going to be a return engagment of White Christmas I am sure that they will make an official announcement soon. Considering the fact that it was said earlier in this thread that now is the time that people start to plan for their holiday trip to NYC and buy tickets, so I am sure that they are going to make it official and announce a theatre very soon.
But, I do doubt that Beauty will happen. I think that the rumor kind of got out of hand when there was one poster who did say that he knew for a fact that it was going to happen, yet he didn't have anything to backup his claim and that became nothing more then heresay.
