When Bernadette belts she kind of cracks, but when Patti belts she pretty much owns the stage.

In the field of acting I think they're equal.

I prefer Patti

I have seen both in several roles, and I concur fully with those who said it's like comparing apples to oranges. It's probably no secret that my answer is Patti (her commanding presence and ownership of the stage is something captivates me), but I absolutely love everything that Bernadette brings to the stage when her feet hit the planks.

Why do I prefer Patti? My reasons are many, but one of them: I, quite frankly, just prefer Patti's voice a lot more - both her speaking voice and her singing voice (especially her belt).

I love both, but I definitley prefer Patti.

Definitely Bernadette. She's a great actress and she can really sell a song. Patti is kind of one note to me. I like her but she doesn't have Bernadette's versatility.

Patti will play Momma Rose in August, in Chicago, for 3 days. Do you think she will be a good fit for the part?
