Last night News 12 Long Island ran a blurb in the information bar that is at the bottom of their screen during newscasts. It said that Whoopie was going into XANADU. No other information was given.
I thought BWW would be abuzz with this story, but I can't find even a mention of it.
What gives?

I'd like to go to xanadu and I like the idea of stage seating because I heard it's a great experience. But I noticed that ticketmaster isn't selling tickets for xanadu past July 27. I also hear that whoopi goldberg is coming on the show around that time. Will they increase prices by alot when she comes to the show? Is there any way i can buy tickets for august now? Thanks for any help. Oh and i'm taking someone else and I was wondering if for the other persons FIRST ever broadway show if you'd recommend on stage seating for XANADU or very nice audience seating for a regular non-musical play?

I wasn't joking about XANADU. I saw the show and rather liked it.
My computer was giving me problems for a while (now repaired) and I was only logging in when I was at the public library. I felt out of touch with lots of things.
I meant that when Whoopi took over FORUM, they revised the role of Psuedolus for a woman. Quite possibly they could be doing the same with XANADU.
