These these little women... How little are they? I mean, are they, like, scary little?
The Pirate Queen was one of those delightful trainwrecks that was fun to see.
Little Women was just boring.
It was paint-by-numbers musical theatre. Foster and McGovern were good. The second act was particularly boring.

Beth dies.
Because no one wants to see the pretty girl die.

Gold star to Phyllis for quoting Friends.
I was in a high school production of Little Women and after doing the show I can definitely say it's not that great. It has a couple good songs but the script is horrendous. It was as if they didn't have enough time to tell a full story, but it was still too long. Plus, none of the girls besides Jo were given time to expand their characters. It was pretty much written for mediocore high schools to produce when they don't have enough talented students.

There is a production being staged in Manila right now:

Any posters here who are in Manila and have seen this?
I don't know if I'd call it a horrible show, but it was definitely severely flawed, totally uninspired, and extremely boring. To be honest, I don't remember much specific information about it besides Sutton's "Astonishing." If you wanna see the only number in the show that (very, very briefly) brought LITTLE WOMEN to life, right before intermission no less, check the clip out of Sutton singing that song on...that site. Other than that, you didn't miss much.

We prefer the term 'Little People' roxy.
If I offended you I apologize.

I found it on the same interest level as Jane Eyre. I had front row seats and just wanted to DIE I wanted to sleep so bad!
