Listening to the cast recording now, and I still cannot believe it wasn't nominated for Best Original Score. Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman did a wonderful job. I hope this musical would run for at least a year.

Love this show! So tonight at the Tony Awards, I am hoping it will win Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical (Norbert Leo Butz), Best Sound Design (Steve Canyon Kennedy) and Best Orchestrations (Marc Shaiman and Larry Blank). I think a Best Musical win will be too far-fetched, but if The Scottsboro Boys gets that award, I will be happy too! :)
