he began the show saying that while this is the 3rd annual kitchen sink, it was the FIRST one without any members of the show BARE performing... haha
please forgive me as a relive how funny he was tonight :)
I put a partial (by memory) list on the other Kitchen Sink thread.
He had said that he was reading a post by WickedShopofQ saying that Jesse seemed conceited, though CKB was the sweetest thing ever, etc, etc. He asked if someone might pass on the appology, because he must've been in a rush or something, and he was very sorry.

Yes, I feel like a celebrity now. I was mentioned by Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
::does Garland's 'A Star is Born' gesture::
And yet I, sitting right next to P J, am ignored!! ::pout:: I'm NOT going to be IGNORED, Jesse!! (said in best evil Glenn Close voice)
Thanks again P J, Emcee, and Liotte for a VERY memorable night!!

Well, if we hear Jesse goes missing, we know who did it...
DAMN it i missed this by a month and i missed JTF damn it he has sweet ass too
Yeah, funny/totally embarassing things probably covers it. I saw Liotte and knew where she was sitting and tried to find her, then Em was mentioned and we died, laughed about PJ(I don't think I talked to you unless I did and didn't realize who you were) and then me, and at that point Em and I completely lost it. I think my face was as pink as my shirt. I felt really bad, I kept laughing through Justin's song, which was really nicely done and serious. Then I really tried to curb my laughing and ended up making little squeaks through the rest of the song. Em, if he only he was still there....
Everythingisrent...were you the curly-haired girl we saw outside? If so, sorry didn't realize it was you!
So I agree with everyone Jesse, you had me laughing the whole night my own mention aside, great job. Yaay for Jews.
Oh the Riff comment...people were talking about how some of Sho's riffs in As Long As you're mine or Defying Gravity were their favs and he said someone said the one from west side story...it took me a second to realize he meant Riff the character from WSS and I adore the show so I was laughing pretty delayed during that one.
As soon as he started mentioning names, I was like "Oh, SH*T!"
wickedrent, Yup, that was me
No worries, we'll meet up another time!
Jesse, if you're reading this, I'd like an apology
My pictures are up on Liotte's thread, btw.
OK! My internet is working again, couldn't get on BWW and missed all the chatting about tonight!
Emcee- mine was the first name mentioned! I definitely had a big OH SH*T moment there.
I thought Jesse was hysterical, and really enjoyed tonight's show.
Yeah, I think we all had those oh **** moments...though since mine was last, I got more worried that he'd bring up the rest of the stuff we discussed, what we were wearing, bright Chitty shirts, etc. I wore exactly what I said I would so I started thinking I was gonna die if he mentioned that part...at that point, def would have hidden behind Matt.
Aww, I think we were saving a seat for you everythingisrent, Diana was looking for you, everyone was calling you by your real name though so I didn't realize it was you. I think what happened w/ Jesse in the thread is I walked past the building at around 6 and Anthony was sitting outside and we chatted a bit and I saw Jesse walk in and then Anthony had to leave for the soundcheck. So since your post was at 5:40 and he was there at about 6, he probably left before he saw your post.
I didn't see your post either before I left.
Damn, if I knew who you were, I woulda broke into the Space Cases theme song lol.
Awe I would have loved to sit with you guys! P J and I didn't think of it...but I found Diana, even thought it was so loud there I couldn't hear ANYTHING LOL
Okay good, glad she was able to find you.
Photos and set list will be on BWW tomorrow...
fantastic!!
I think Jesse was one of the highlights of the concert tonight...all of his little jokes, and then all the random things he said about each singer.
Another thing I enjoyed was Anthony Rapp's comment about him and Jesse being the whitest people in New York.
Oh, and Jesse's story about being on the subway to his old apartment in Brooklyn and how all the white people would get off several stations ahead of him and then how the gang of kids got on and said something about him, so he said something back as he was getting off, and the last word of it was "Moesha".
Well, they're the cutest really pale men I've ever seen.
I loved his intro number... thing. The laws of genetics, etc, etc. Hilarious.
Oh forgot about the subway story, that was great as well...Moesha...also the part about how a group of teenagers is like the worst group you could ever encounter, I def laughed and appreciated that part
As a big Bare fan, I think I almost snorted with laughter at his comment about it being the third annual Kitchen Sink, but the first annual one to sell out without a performer from Bare.
Well that and his remembering the thread from the last Kitchen Sink and all the comments on performers, Shoshanna Bean, Matt Morrison, Michael Arden, Michael Arden, Michael Arden, Michael Arden, Michael Arden and some guy with orange hair in an orange sweater.
So funny, yet so sadly true.
Didn't Jesse have a one man show at Joe's Pub? I'm kind of hoping he revives that, because I think I need to see it immediately!
I wonder if he reads the off-topic board...
I bet Leaf would.
It would work well with the whole ADHD thing he has going on.
And maybe he would be able to coach Liam a bit in spelling.
Jesse's one-man show at Joe's Pub was called "Adios Pantalones," and it was supposed to be hysterical. I hope he does it again, because I'd go!
After last night's experience, I would definitely go.
I also forgot about the Jewish comments- as we were at Makor (a Jewish organization), some performers were mentioned as being Jewish (and Sara Schmidt, being incorrectly identified as such, was like, no, I'm Catholic). I thought that was a cute touch.
