An increase in ONE week's grosses don't mean a heck of a lot.
Overall, it's grosses have been OK, but nothing great. What we don't know is what their advance looks like. Most rumors have pointed to disasterous.
A January closing wouldn't be a big shock. But only time will tell.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

People marvel that N2N has been holding on as long as it has. I haven't seen talk about about ROA except that no one thought it would make a go of it when it opened on Bway...and it obviously made a great go of it.
And until more shows OPEN....what else is there to talk about?

well a whole bevy of shows just opened: Brief Encounter, The Pitmen Painters, Mrs. Warren's Profession and seven more by month's end.

Posted: 10/4/10 at 2:12amThe last three weeks the show has been grossing well below break-even. If it sinks much lower it may dip below the theatre's stop clause and the St. James can evict it and go looking for a new tenant.
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!

I heard a new musical version of ALF wants the theatre.
Im sorry i just hate all the 'i heard so and so wants a theatre' it means nothing at all
