Why is the Spelling Bee logo different now?

The Logo for Spelling bee on the homepage here is different than the one for on the spelling bee site and on the CD etc. They've added Logan and done new versions of Chip, Leif, and Olive. Anyone know the reason why? Just curious...
Yes that's me. No, it's not a Rent homage.

I bet the old one was from off broadway or something cause I LOVE the new logo and wish it was always that instead of the older one. THESE are their new costumes in the logo and it would make sense that it has been changed

It is nicer...just random that the characters are modelled after the broadway actors portraying them, and yet the broadway logo hasnt changed.

Also Im not sure if it was used for the off Broadway logo, because Robb Sapp was still Chip in the OB production and he's definitely not Latino/Asian

The wonderful Robb Sapp who played Tripp Barrington as a homage to the locale of the summer run was replaced before the Off-Broadway production to create more diversity among the Spellers. The equally fabulous Jose Llana then morphed into Chip Tolentino(Jose's real mom's maiden name)
The most recent logo now most closely resembles the actors as well as their costumes. Prior to that, Chip's outfit looked like a combination of Leaf's and the boy scout . Now they just need to accurately depict the numbers on the placards.
Olive was the one who was missing for a time and has now returned. Logainne was always there but in an unrecognizable outfit and hairstyle.
