Wicked.....REAL Loathing???

Does it matter? As long as they're okay onstage, it's fine.

People ARE allowed to hate other people.

And actors are people.

I seriously doubt they hate each other. I heard from a friend who talked to Kristin herself and she said they get along just fine.

While I think they are both great actresses, I highly doubt either of them could *pretend* to have the chemistry they have onstage.

yep because as we all know no one who's ever hated each other has gone on night after night giving moving performances in a production where their characters have to have great personal chemistry, right? i mean god forbid they might be...what's that word...i know it...it's on the tip of my tongue...acting??? i mean that's like pretending that all those actors who have sex scenes in movies are not actually "doin' it!" geez.

Um actually nowhere in my post did it say that no one had ever been able to do that. I said that KRISTIN and IDINA don't seem experienced enough, at least to me, to fake affection for each other every night.

While I admit I didn't directly reference to their experience in that post, the "i highly doubt either of them could..." was directly referring to Kristin and Idina, not actors in general.

For fear of being flamed I'm not going to say why I think that, so you will just have to accept the "lack of experience" as you will.

If actors had to be enamored of one another for the creation of "chemistry," there would be precious little, on stage or screens, big and small. Anyone who thinks the best acting grows out of personal affection hasn't studied long enough, or been on stage in the real world. Respect is key, but respect and genuine affection are hardly the same thing.

Everyone has seen too much whiny, teary "Sex and the City" CLOSURE crap lately -- all about Sarah and Kim's weeping and fear of seeing the last script and saying goodbye. Blah, blah, blah. Ditto, "Friends." A whole season of Jennifer holding back the floodgates in anticipation of the last taping. For every "Friends" there's a "Golden Girls," wherein those broads merely tolerated one another, as it's commonly known. (White and Arthur barely spoke.) As for their chemistry? Check it out in reruns, nightly. Those women had separate trailers, but sure as hell knew what made 'em golden -- just acting, lots of good acting.

woah woah woah!!! calm down everyone please!!! I was just simply asking if there was any merrit to what I have heard..I am not trying to pry into their business but was just curious if what I had heard was right...I just wanted to get my facts in line thats all!!! I have every intention of seeing the show and in fact have not stopped listening to the cast album since I acquired it! I was simply in shock when I heard someone say that they didnt really get along well behind the scenes...

Idina is a close family friend of mine and she says that she can't understand it, but for some reason K Cho (as she likes to call her...) has suddenly turned very cold on her. You might say, "what is this feeling so sudden and new?"

I heard from a friend who knew this guy on the street who slept with some chorus girl who did a show with this dancer who did a commercial in spain with this director who did a play in LA with this actor who slept with this other actor who was closeted and engaged to this actress who did a show with someone in HAIR that spoke to this groupie outside the stage door that Idina enjoyes slapping Kristin and has a voodoo doll with her name on it

One moron who didn't even really believe it himself posted on a popular message board that it looked like they were mad at each other one night on stage and now suddenly there are "all these rumors." That's what happens when people believe such nonsense. It is also what happens when people ask if it is true. Another group of people will see the question and assume that there must be something to it and ask about it somewhere else, when really there is nothing to it. Not to bust everyone's bubble but they get along great.
