I was in the line for the show last night (July 27th) and there was the most annoying girl doing vocal warmups, and then talking about her favorite scene and then recreating the song that goes with it... Creepy. There's a reason I paid $100.00 to see the show... so I wouldn't have to listen to others sing it. So whatever your teacher decides to have you sing, try to keep it down in the box office line. But it served me right to be bitchy because Idina wasn't in the show! Eden was fabulous, but I was really impressed with Jennifer as Glinda. I never saw Chenowith, but Jennifer appeared like the role was written for her. George Hearn was passible, but Joey Mac was attrocious. I didn't believe he ever cared about either witch, it was so sad to see him just walk through the lines. But what I never read about it the true star of the show, Eugene Lee's OUTSTANDING set! He's done incredible work with ShowBoat and Ragtime, but he's truely outdone himself. Very impressive!

George Hearn was passible, but Joey Mac was attrocious

Bring back Sean McCourt!!! Hopefully, but I doubt, someone in the upper ranks of Wicked will stumble on this thread + the million others stating that these 2 are no good. Sean McCourt, if any of you have had the pleasure, is 'Awesome' as 'The Wizard' - he plays it like it was made for him, a great actor!
It amazes me, no matter how good you may think something is, or shouldn't be done over and over again, somehow seems to repeat itself throughout history. Given the fact that this is Broadway, so cut-throat, you would think, hope, that the directors, producers, etc. would know what's working & what's not - but hey, they always seem to surprise you, don't they...
