Posted: 12/30/04 at 11:56pmok first of all, i think the gasping is part of her character...in the first act edpicially i the wiz & i b/c shes really excited and anxious. but i think it gets better towards the 2nd act...iprob. should have posted this onanother message but w/e.

I saw the 12/30 evening show and she gasped through the whole show. She is sick, and it shows. But she was AMAZING. I have seen the show 5 times and tonight her Defying Gravity was the most amazing perfermance of the song i have ever seen or heard. She is truly amazing and will be missed!
And yes Meg was in and she was great!!!

I was at the 12/29 matinee also.
She WASNT gasping after every line. Everyone is blowing this gasping thing out of porportion. There was some gasping in some of her songs, but none that were extremely notable, and this was my 4th time seeing the show, 3rd time with Idina. She was amazing as usual, and to say that she was gasping after every speaking line is ridiculous.

Posted: 12/31/04 at 11:12amHey all iam BRAND spankin new to this board but i love broadway and iam seeing Wicked for the 3rd time january 5th and i REALLY hope Idina is outstanding because iam bringing three of my friends and i have been RAVING about her and her singing for the longest time i hope she can get over her sickness and show my friends what i love about Idina.
