Wicked 12/30 night show?

I went to the 12/29 matinee. Did Megan Hilty do both shows today? How did she do? and was Idina still careful with her notes as she seemed yesterday? Gimme some feeback people! love to hear about them!

ok first of all, i think the gasping is part of her character...in the first act edpicially i the wiz & i b/c shes really excited and anxious. but i think it gets better towards the 2nd act...iprob. should have posted this onanother message but w/e.

idinarox, believe me the gasping was not part of the role. she was definatley struggling. i saw it today, she still belted and was great at it, but literally after every line she gasped. megan was at the matinee

I saw the 12/30 evening show and she gasped through the whole show. She is sick, and it shows. But she was AMAZING. I have seen the show 5 times and tonight her Defying Gravity was the most amazing perfermance of the song i have ever seen or heard. She is truly amazing and will be missed!

And yes Meg was in and she was great!!!

Unless the girl is on her death bed, she'll be there. She has just little over a week remaining.

SHE WILL BE THERE!! She has tomorrow to rest. she would not take a day off on her last week.

i say that because i would like to let people know that i was there and that i witnessed it. so people don't say "oh she doesnt know what she's talking about"...ok thanks... and why do you even care what i right...that's my business and if i wanna write it i can...

I was at the 12/29 matinee also.

She WASNT gasping after every line. Everyone is blowing this gasping thing out of porportion. There was some gasping in some of her songs, but none that were extremely notable, and this was my 4th time seeing the show, 3rd time with Idina. She was amazing as usual, and to say that she was gasping after every speaking line is ridiculous.

in the 12/30 matinee she was clearly gasping after every line. maybe it was just my performance but it was obvious.

Hey all iam BRAND spankin new to this board but i love broadway and iam seeing Wicked for the 3rd time january 5th and i REALLY hope Idina is outstanding because iam bringing three of my friends and i have been RAVING about her and her singing for the longest time i hope she can get over her sickness and show my friends what i love about Idina.
