I bet a lot of people will do this...
Very cool, but gavrochegirl is 200% right
I don't see anywhere on the site where it says they give you a backstage tour. It looks like maybe the Wicked team rented out a space to show a video, put a few costumes, and have a few cast members (who may not even be principles) answer your questions. Like a Wicked museum with some little features, I guess.

I did. Where on it do you see that they actually take you BACKSTAGE? Backstage and Behind the Scenes can be interpreted two ways.
i'd do it, although i don't see the point in essentially watching a trailer for a show you (hopefully) just watched

Thanks. I guess I am not going crazy after all because I can't see anything about that on the site. But thanks for posting it.
hmmm upon re-reading it, i'd much rather the group set tour mentioned on the site for a sliding scale donation to bc/efa... seems to be a better version and the money goes to a more worthy cause
"CLICK. THE. LINK."
I clicked the link too, and nowhere does it actually say you're going backstage at the Gershwin. It sounds to me like there's some room in and around the Gershwing where they're going to show this video, have some models on display, and bring in some cast members (who will probably be swings and ensemble members...I wouldn't expect Shoshana Bean to show up for this).
I wonder how much they'll charge for this. This will undoubtedly be extremely popular, and I imagine they'll make quite a bit of money from this.
as if Wicked isn't making ENOUGH money...
they raised the prices on all the merchandise..the tshirt I bought for $25 is now $28 and the hoodie I wanted was $50 and now it's $60!
OUTRAGEOUS.... but what can you do...

Ahh eeewww. I hate it when they do that!
Why wouldn't Shoshana do this? She isn't a big star. It's not like she's Brooke Shields or Christina Applegate. If it was them - I could understand not having them talk to the group. But Shoshana isn't a star - or very popular (besides with the Wicked teenies.) I don't see why the two witches wouldn't do this - considering they aren't stars.
well i would guess they're gonna run several tours a day and you just know with the wicked psychos there are that if shoshana or megan actually came to one of them and not the rest there would be mass teeny bopper suicide.
My thinking was that Shoshana, Megan, et. all have lots to do before and after the show, moreso than a swing.
I clicked on the link at the top of the page and still saw absolutely nothing about backstage tours. is there another page I have to get to in order to find the info?
