I will be seeing the show on July 17...just wondering about any cast changes between now and then. Thanks for any info
Well it's been known that David Garrison has extended his run to June, though nothing has been confirmed on who will replace him.
Apart from that, nothing else that I know of
I'm pretty sure you'll have the current cast, but that might be the week that Julia's on vacation.
How would I find out and how is her standby just in case??
Lisa Brescia is her standby and I"m waiting for her to go on. I just may go back to Wicked. Heard she's better than Murney, actually.
I believe that Julia vacation will be the first week of july. I have heard the Lisa is great and she looks awesome in green. Either witch you will not be disappointed i am sure. the role is in the most capable hands it has been in for awhile.

I got to see Lisa and she was fantastic, although I was bummed not to see Julia, she made it a joyable experience!

julia will be missing 11 shows the week she's on vacation because of the schedule with the 4th of july holiday. cassie will be getting some of those shows. no decisions on which lady will get what shows.
Announced yesterday - there will be an Australian production of WICKED opening in Melbourne early 2008. About time!

im seeing wicked on the 31st-is it bad to hope julia gets sick so cassie can go on? i saw her on her opening night in hairspray
Not quite, while it had been mentioned frequently there had been no confirmation. There had been rumours going around for 18 months. But at least we now know which theatre (the Regent, ugh) and the city.

I'd like to apologize if I sounded a bit angry in that post (I wasn't). However, Playbill.com's article definately alludes to a forthcoming production.
Thanks for the clear up, though!
That's OK, it's big news here today and really wsn't worth starting a thread for, so just dropped it into the mix.
