Who do you think should replace Lindsay Mendez and Katie Rose Clarke once they leave Wicked? Post responses down below!!!

Yeah, I know, which is what I love. I think she would be absolutely terrific in the role, and her voice would blow the house down. It may very possible that she could, she stated that she did The Voice to open up more opportunities. I hope Joe, Stephen (he sometimes casts), and whoever else casts the leads consider her to be a replacement.

I forgot that Rachel was the u/s for Glinda on tour. Maybe now that she hassome Broadway experience with Evita she can take on a lead role.
On that note, do we know if Rachel ever performed Glinda on tour?

Posted: 7/21/13 at 11:16amRachel did go on a few times, though the woman she covered, Natalie Daradich, only ever missed a few shows. Someone I know saw her and said she was excellent!

Didn't Saycon Sengbloh play Elphaba on Broadway? I know Alexa Khadime did in London. Wouldn't she have been the first?

I'm very, very interested in seeing Ariana Grande as Glinda as well. She would hit every note, including the optional ones, and she could probably handle the 8 shows a week (mentioning she has a theater background and was on Broadway once before). She even stated she wanted to play her at some point.

I see Marla as much more of an Elphaba.
I do know who is replacing Katie Rose in September and I honestly don't find it to be a very exciting choice.
