Certainly not on the stage of the Gershwin.
Sorry...but that sound system was terrible!

You already know them, you've heard em a billion times.

'Like a boulder meets a stream in a wood'
Has Schwatz ever been outside of an urban environment? Where the hell does a boulder meet a stream in a wood????

Ah robbiej....I am dissapointed.
A boulder does not meet a stream. It's the stream that meets it. *rolling eyes* Shape up!
NOW I GET IT!!!!! ![]()
Oy...it still makes not one lick of sense to me!

Seriously though...I do have to say I really did love most everything about the show. True, Dancin' Through Life was my least favourite number...But I truly think Idina soared and, though I thought Kristin was quite adorable, I think Idina is getting the short end of the stick when it comes to reviews. How can you review an entire show and barely mention her?!?!
Well there we completely agree. Idina was wonderful and should most certainly have been given more credit. She's the heart and soul of that show and she's terrific in it.

Robbiej, I could kiss you! Hee hee hee
OH, I agree, I do agree. That girl should be praised to the high heavens. Of course, I think the show should've been also.
Also, when a stream meets a boulder, the water flow will change direction. I think Schwartz is referring to the effect that Elphaba had on Glinda, in changing her feelings and her general direction and purpose in life.
Nice to know Schwartz's penchant for inappropriate folksong imagery is still going strong!
Popa,
You missed the big love duet. Even Journey wouldn't have recorded such drivel.
I have the lyrics. Is there a specific song you're looking for?

Oh, this isn't about the wicked and naughty lyrics of Lorenz Hart?
I forgot! This isn't about discussing actual musicals, just the internet theatrical equivalent of TIGER BEAT...

You should try to pick a point of view, DPoop. Chastising school marm in one thread, schizo salad talking verbal salad in another, condescending attitudinaciousness in yet another, but lacking any evidence that you've earned that. You go in as many different directions as the Wicked narrative, but with fewer hydraulics.
What I like most about streams is, you can't step in the same stream twice. The water's always changing, always flowing... around the boulders...
I love Stephen Schwartz.

Ah Namo, if only you were not found...
How many posts does it take to be a "legend?"
I may take different directions- you you have posted how many times and are afraid to include an e-mail address? Afraid of taking responsibility for your posts and the opinions stated within?
Blah blah blah.

Taking responsibility for my posts? They are messages on a website. Mine aren't even important enough to be quoted by Rosie O'Donnell. It's not like I'm anonymously publishing how to build a nuclear bomb. And it takes 32 seconds to open a web based email account, does that actually legitimize things for you.
Also, your puns on people's names lack sophistication.
