Wicked Review 9/11 Matinee

AMAZING!! Idina was really "on" in the whole show. J La was Awesome! I think Kristin Chenoweth was better at delivering the lines and jokes but J La's "Popular" was better than Kristin's, imo.

Joey McIntire- pretty good not great alright. They changed the notes in "As Long as Your Mine" and Idina was giggling throughout the entire thing which I haven't seen before.

George Hearn- Awesome Wizard! He was great! the weird thing was was that they added a few lines in "Wonderful" but it made it better

J La- Great! She had big shoes to fill but she fitted in them perfectly

Idina- OMG!!! Best performance of "No Good Deed" ever. My mouth dropped open at the end of it b/c that was the best I have ever heard it sung. "Defy Gravity" was also one of the best performances I have seen from her so far. I think she was really happy today b/c she was giggling throughout the entire thing and when the curtain came down in the final act she bent over to wave and smile before the curtain went all the way to touch the stage.

All I can say is Awesome!!

Glad you had a great time !!! LOVE KC (still have the concert from last night in my head !!), but agree that J LA's "Popular
is better ! The night we saw her, she had Idina cracking up during the entire song !

I thought the show was really great. A nice one to see on my first trip to a Broadway enhanced NYC trip. I went with my choir class to see it, the director's daughter heard of the musical way back when it just started so we got tickets early enough to get orchestra seating.

Amazing. I really liked the entire thing, because it seemed like everything fit into a slot that went along with The Wizard of Oz. Unfortunately, I will probably never be able to see the show live again... but the rest of my class is hoping for a movie in a few years, even though they know it won't be the same if it even happens at all.
