I was there Thu. the 20th, and my friend and I both saw Kendra swallow a bubble. It was rather entertaining!

Doesn't the actor playing Fiyero usually play the young Lover in the "No One Mourns The Wicked" scene? At least that's how it
used to be in the Broadway production. (Now they don't do it, because David Ayers is Fiyero and Ben Vereen is the Wizard, so they use an African-American ensemble member to play the lover.)

I always thought the Wizard did the part of the lover in "No One Mourns The Wicked"...

I think it varies due to the specific Wizard and Fiyero. I'm pretty sure that Joel Grey did the part of the lover (don't quote me on that tho!) and I know for sure that George Hern did not. I know right now that David Ayers does not do the part, but I'm not sure whether Ben Vereen or an ensemble member does it.

During the original broadway production, the Wizard was the one physically playing the Lover. But now, it's different. The actor that played Fiyero was rumored to be the one who physically did the role, but those rumors were put down my Kristoffer. To clear everything up now, the Wizard is singing the part (I believe its prerecorded), and a random ensemble member acts and dances the part.
