I just got an e-mail from my school's drama teacher telling me that she's arranging a field trip to Cincy to see the touring production of Wicked in March. Of course I dutifully accepted my role as chaperone! Looks like a really good cast too.
Stephanie J. Block as Elphaba, Kenda Kassebaum as Glinda, and Carole Shelley playing Madame Morrible. But the big draw for me is David Garrison aka Steve "Al Bundy's buddy" Rhodes as the Wizard!!!

Posted: 1/13/06 at 10:11amhave a great time! David Garrison was the best Wizard I have seen (Joel Grey, George Hearn, Ben Vereen). He was really nice at the stage door too!

Agree about David Garrison. The best Wizard I've seen, as well.
Overall I had a good time at the tour in Toronto. Enjoy!

Posted: 1/13/06 at 4:29pmI'm seeing the show in Cincinnatti also, I was wondering if Stephanie J. Block will still be in the show? Sometimes, it says she's staying till end of the run, sometimes it says she's leaving before it. Does anyone have a definite answer?

Posted: 1/13/06 at 4:31pmCandleshoe - you can email and ask her as the time gets closer but my best guess is that you'll miss her. I'm thinking the last stop is Pittsburgh from what it looks like by her website.

Posted: 1/13/06 at 4:34pmIf I miss her, at least I got to see her in Saint Louis. I just wanted all of my friends to get a chance to see her. But, if she's gone, hopefully whoever replaces her will be just a good.
