it is possible for her to have been moving her whole hand while writing so where the I starts is not relevant.
None of you is going to be able to PROVE this is or isnt her signature...

Anyhoo, about the Idina sig, I looked at my signed Playbill, and the 'z' is exactly the same (its the only letter I can make out on mine, she was rushing).

I work at the Met (museum) as a restorationist. Slants/strokes, they're the definitive characteristics and the first mistake a forger would make.

I also have a couple of signatures from various meetings with Idina and that looks very much like her signature when she takes her time. Most of us have gotten very rushed signatures because they've been at the stage door and what not. Who knows when she signed it, but I think it's hers.
Not that it matters...

^Idina's handwriting. I couldn't imagine how a lefty could've written that because of the slant, but, alas, she did.

im lefty too, and i dont see how its impossible for her to have written that. im not claiming to be an expert on her signature though, i dont have anything in front of me to compare it to.

I'm going to side with those that say it's not Idina's signature.
As a side hobby I collect autographs and that signature is similar but pretty obviously not Idina's.
Maybe Jennifer just signed it to be nice.
It wouldn't be the first time fan mail has been answered without the actual person signing the photo. Many celebrities assistants sign the stuff.
Hopefully this picture link works on a full Idina signature

I guess we'll never know what the real answer is (because I'd certainly never ask either person if 1) she forged or 2) she really signed the picture. But this was an interesting discussion, that's for sure!
