yeah it was... but they can't just take a broadway clone over to west end... i just dont know what changes they'd make...
I wish they'd get rid of Something Bad and Sentimental Man but they are FAR too important to the plot... Maybe they can make Nessa explode or die or something at the end because I HATE her...

Posted: 1/28/06 at 12:25pmHm. It IS possible for a transfer of a show like this capacity to not change any of the songs. It doesnt have to become less Americanized-it's a fantasy world! Wicked doesn't lack any appeal to foreign buyers as it is. So while Nessa exploding sounds like a splendid idea, I don't think any majors changes are necessary.

That said, sometimes changes are made NOT because of the new location, but because it's an opportunity for the creative team to really re-visit the show and make changes they think are needed. Rarely is it because of the location of the show.
