Ok... first off.. I never saw the show in NY..but now I don't want to, it was HORRIBLe. It was the worst musical I have ever seen.First off, I saw the Understudy of Miss Block...to discribe her in one work was....BAD....she never should be able to sing again... one plus was that the Fyario was black.. I thought that was cool.. but anyway.. I don't recommend this tour to ANYONE.........
Sorry.. I can't type/spell....
Stephanie Block would be the only reason I would see the WICKED tour. If she were out, I'd be out the door.

Aww im sorry to hear that. Im not gonna be like "there is something wrong with u" cuz i know how annoying that is, I happen to love the show. I havent seen the tour, only the NY show.
Sorry you had a bad experience! To each his own. I did see it on Broadway, and I'll be seeing it again in Dallas--and, no, I am not a crazed teenage fangirl!
Actually, I think Jenna isn't going on now till Saturday matinee.

Oh god, that would be great, Id finally get to see Stephanie!
Or Kristy, if she hasn't left yet.
I can positively confirm Kristy is still here. She & Stephanie seem to be alternating. I tried for the lottery on Wed & actually hooked up w someone who won & as we lined up Kristy's name was on the board. So I finessed. She IS a good performer but I've seen hr! I really want to see Stephanie but w the TTC strike approaching who knows what anyone will be able to se!

Just to set the record straight, according to the book Wicked was created from (Wicked, by Gregory Maguire), Fiyero is black. I don't think that character in particular should be seen as a particular color. I'm sorry you had such a horrible experience - I do think you'd enjoy the show on Broadway.
I'd be interested to know why you think someone who hated the show in YYZ would love it in NYC.
Oh my God, the fieyro being black was the only "cool" thing. I find things like this hysterical. Now we have a black "On Golden Pond," a soon to come black "His Girl Friday" a black "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" titled "Guess Who" and a black "The Honeymooners." Enough! When will there be a white "The Piano Lesson" or "Raisin in the Sun"?

Dispatch, actually, the Fiyero in the book wasn't black. He had blue diamonds on his face. Just setting the record straight.
In the book, Avaric gives a description of Fiyero:
" "What's he wearing such silly paint for?" said Avaric. "He only draws attention to himself. And that skin. I wouldn't want to have skin the color of sh*t." "

The Fiyero in the book by description was black. They just never came out and said it. And it suprised me that they did not cast a person of color in the role on B'way. Glad to see they did for the tour. I hear that the staircases on either side of the stage are not being used for the tour. Does anyone know why? Also I heard that the hat in the opening is not done. I have seen some pretty elaborate touring shows and wonder why these two pieces of scenery are not being included on the tour.
They also seemed to have changed parts of the script. Right before "The Wizard and I", it seems Galinda just says "I didn't get my way." and walks off...
Isnt Deryck Williams Fiyero? That man is gorgeous.
Yes he is Fiyero

You mean this doesn't happen on Broadway? I don't remember.
The Broadway reads something like "I guess this will just make me a better person."
