I wishi could have seen Shos and Megan... i am going to see it again somewhere on a thursday - saturday performance because i feel like the show will be diffrent... the only reason i said it was the worst performance is because that night of seeing the show was probally one of the worst things i have seen. That and when i saw Rent, but this was originally started to inform the the Wicked Fans that the show is setting a record at the theatre.

For those of you who wanted to know about the talk back.... The actors talked about being with the show from creation or coming into the show in the middle of the run...probally the most intresting thing i found out was it takes 4 people to cll the 326 cues the show has

FeelingElectric, I really doubt that the distance made you lack the enthuse for it. I respect your underwhelmed opinion and the thought of you thinking maybe it was from the mid mezzanine, but I doubt it.
The first time I saw Wicked was from the very last row and it had the same effect on me as when I saw 8th row, and the front row. Either way I still got the same result, except I did prefer front row just because obviously you see things more clearly. But still I think that if you didn't like it much from one seat, you probably won't feel noticeably different in the others

I can understand your reasoning Bwaybaby. I saw the show not too long ago and two leads were out. I felt the show suffered greatly because of that. I too was quite disappointed as there was a clear lack of energy. I do hope when you see the show you enjoy it. Not seeing Megan Hilty is a real downer (though I have heard great things about Katie). Wicked is a show that needs a good cast and (I feel) a good audience to really work. Otherwise, as Bwaybaby said, the smoke and mirrors are a bit overwhelming.
