I heard something about Stephanie taking over on Broadway after Idina leaves and Idina opening the tour in Toronto. I would looove to see Stephanie take over the role. She was Elphie before Idina... Also, Kristin mentioned something about always wanting to perform with Stephanie

I saw Mandy Gonzalez perform "Defying Gravity". Very nice belter...I think she'd make a good Elphaba.

Stephanie Block posted on her website that she has accepted the role of Elphaba on tour and that they were now negotiating her contract. It has also been announced that Carole Cane is to play Madame Morrible in the touring version.

I think Amy Spanger would make a wonderful elphaba.

I know I'm a little late (better late than pregnant right? Not that I could ever GET pregnant, but I digress...), but since Orfeh was mentioned earlier in the thread I feel the need to chime in just to say that Orfeh is totally the neatest thing since sliced bread and I would buy tickets to see Orfeh in ANYTHING.
