Emcee - I saw the show again last weekend, after having not seen it since the original cast were in it! (A very long time...)
I don't know if it was because I was sharing the show with someone who was seeing it for the first time, or because so much time has passed that I've forgotten how energetic and extraordinary the story is, but I was completely amazed and absolutely thrilled with the performance!
And, much of that has to do with Will Chase, who I think was perfect.
I may have to go see it again before he leaves. Which, I realize, is soon...

I want to see Will again, too, because I know that nobody will ever do it like he did, but I just don't have time. I'm grateful that I saw him once, though!!
I'm just really picky about Roger, in terms of even the tiniest little nuances. So for me to pull the word "perfect" is nothing to shake your fist at!

I know he's going to be in a couple of concerts in Feb: one for Valentines, on the 13th I want to say, and then the.. Matthew Shepard Embrace concert? I think. He also mentioned another concert he's rehearsing but I totally forget for what (I just remember its not in NY).
He definately needs to do another show so he's around more

He's going to Arizona, I believe right after Rent. Then the V-day concert, and embrace!, and he's possibly RSVP'd yes for FLOPZ 2 and CUTZ, but I'm not positive. Don't quote me!

I have two huge Rubbermaid containers in my house full of theatre-related... stuff. Then I have two big envelope thingies here at school for the same stuff. I keep everything. Playbills, ticket stubs, pamphlets, sharpies, programs, flyers, magazines. I am the biggest packrat. I also tape EVERYTHING. So my collection inclues an enormous pile of recorded videotapes.

I'm a big pack-rat too... my favorite thing I have is that I've put all my ticket stubs in a photo album so I can flip through and see everything I've seen and know when I saw it.
Anywho... I hope Will goes into another show soon. That boy really needs to originate a kick-ass part because he'll blow everyone away!

I just got back from seeing Will a second time (WOOHOO). My friend came into town and we actually won the lottery - we've decided she's good luck.
But I just had to reiterate just how incredible he was - so moving and so strong.
On another note I saw Antonique the first time and didn't enjoy her as much as Karmine. I can't really put my finger on it, it wasn't anything specific. I also thing Will had stronger chemistry with Karmine when I saw them.
Anyway, anyone who hasn't should definately try to catch the show before he leaves on Sunday!

when is he leaving? i will finally get to go to new york for the first time in november for my birthday (yessssss!) and obviously he will not be there unless he has nothing better to do lol. I thought he already left but I guess not.
