Will's Mark was absolutely fantastic.
His Roger was good and he does one of the best "Will I?" solos I've ever heard, but he excelled at Mark.
ETA: I don't think he's too old looking for Roger. Spike his hair up a bit and he'll be fine.
I'll probably see it while I am in the city in January, but I have to hope and pray that I get an understudy for nearly every other cast member - especially RuprechtMark.:)

Cary is just gone. taking time off, finishing up the album for a Feb 2006 release and a music video.
Josh is Roger till Christmas Eve and then Will takes over. after Will's stint in the plaid a NEW (like never been on Broadway before New) Roger, Tim Hower will come in

I didn't like him as much in The Full Monty - he played it to boyishly.

I saw Rent yesterday. I was pretty damn impressed with Joshua Kobak as Roger. He plays a different Roger, much angrier. In "Another Day" he was rather violent towards (Mimi) played by Antonique Smith. He was fantastic. I did notice though, as they are watching the film during Finale B, Cary's picture is still in it as Roger. On the other hand, I really miss Karmine Aler's Mimi. Antonique was ok, but her voice was extremely irritating at times.
Ok, back to the topic. I look forward to seeing Will again.

My friend who has seen the play numerous times before surprised the hell out of me. When it was over she whispered to me, "I really love Matt Caplan as Mark."
He was better yesterday afternoon compared to the other few times I have seen it this year.

Posted: 12/12/05 at 8:19pmEm, Tim Howar (fresh blood) will be joining the cast from January 30th to July 29th. I guess now that means I'll have to go to see Will and then probably wait a little bit into Tim's run before I see him. Let him get settled.
