The producer behind Rent, Hamilton, and Avenue Q (and a few forgettable titles which don't make the page count) releases his new memoir, Theater Kid: A Broadway Memoir. 1 Minute Critic gave it an advance read before the May 6 release. Most of the book focuses on the evolution of Rent and a lot of his childhood growing up in Detroit. Here's a peek. Curious to know ... who or what do you hope he mentions?

Only if he spills the beans on a rather famous actor picking up well let’s say the correct age group at the stage door, those who know, know!

Seeing as you're the one minute critic and you've already read the book, you can tell us that without the clickbate header and salesy language.

Does he go into any great depth about his professional split from Kevin McCollum? They've both been very publicly diplomatic about that –– but made Lin choose between Kevin or Jeffrey for HAMILTON rather than continue working together.

I preordered this on Audible and am really looking forward to it. It’s got a ton of folks reading it including Annaleigh Ashford, Darren Criss, Lin Manuel Miranda and a whole lot more.
