Posted: 5/9/05 at 7:43pmI'm not a morning person at all and I'm not emtionally attached to any shows this year, so I won't be getting up at 7:30. I'll finf out a few hours later when I wake up.

Oy. I roll out of bed at 8:28 and stumble the two feet from my computer. That, in my world is "waking up."
Actually, Jezebel, I'm a bigger fan of Raúl Esparza than I really am of the show itself, but I went to see him, and found it terribly faulted, but completely irresistable and fun. I'm hoping he gets it tomorrow, but we shall see....

Posted: 5/9/05 at 7:52pmI saw the show in London, and I think you've summed it up well! No Raul in London, though...will a nomination satisfy you, or do you want all-out victory? For me, all I want is Laura to get at least a nomination! I daren't dream of victory.

You know what's weird... Last year I felt like I really knew the shows and what they were about and I was pulling for Q and all that good stuff. I feel like I'm completely out of the loop now...

I will be on my way to work, so will have to log online when I get there to see what happened. luvtheEmcee, I am rooting for Raul just for you! 
But I have to agree with brdwaybaby17, my interest this year is a lot more academic. I think one major issue for me this year is the fact that so many of the leading musical nominees didn't open till spring, and the cast recordings are either just recently out, or not out yet at all. By Tony time last year, I had the CDs of Q and Wicked and felt like I was at least somewhat familiar with most of the major musical nominees. I'm still eager, though, having read so many opinions and predictions. I wonder if there will be any real shocks among the nominations.

LOL, you know, I have to confess I did not know of Raul before BWW. But all those Chitty pics have got me thinking, hey, you know, he is pretty cute!
