How can you sight scheduling conflict the night before a concert?

Do you just wake up and suddnely relize you have a doctors appointment or bridge game?

That's disappointing, as I was looking forward to her a bit more than Ebersole... but I'm still excited to see the concert!

Yeah, I think the whole gimmick was to have them play mother and daughter again, and they do have such great stage chemistry. Honestly, I don't find the cast to be particularly exciting now that she is out.

I'm disappointed, too, but Bobbie Steinbach is a very good local actress. If I'm remembering correctly, she played Madame Armfeldt at the Lyric Stage a few years ago. I seem to remember her being quite good.

I wonder what this means for the Tanglewood stint in July. Will Ms. Wilson be available then? Will Steinbach play there, too? Will they recast with another B'way name?

I was really hoping for major names for Carl Magnus and Charlotte, too. Will Tanglewood Festival Chorus folks have the acting chops required? We shall see...
