Over the years I have gathered a collection that I am rather proud of... two shows that I have questions about.
1) Rex- the infamous Richard Rodgers flop- did they ever produce a Window Card for this show? I know this would be a very rare item, but I'm wondering if this is something if located, Triton could duplicate.
2) Promises, Promises- the original 68' production- the only thing I've ever seen is a 14x22 that says, "Coming in November" or something like that- no credits or cast information. Again... by now it would be something rare, but I'm interested in knowing if either of these ever existed or not.
Anyone who can help, I would appreciate it. I don't have much wall space left, but could create some if these two ever came around!
Yes, REX has a windowcard however I've seen it available quite often so it's not as rare as you might think. As for PROMISES, I'm almost positive there is another version available. I'll check when I get home in a bit.
Go to my website to see photos of both. Heres the link: http://homepage.mac.com/gilsan1/broadwayart/index.html
Your website is fantastic and full of some really great Window Cards.
I've noticed many times that the version of "Nine" that I have is the original- tan background with no quotes or "Best Musical" written on it, but it does have full cast/creative list. It is one of my favorites next to Carrie and Busker Alley.
