For a variety of reasons, my favorite window card is the one for the original Auntie Mame with Rosalind Russell. It was my third Broadway show (I was 11 at the time), Ms. Russell signed my Playbill, and it is the show, probably more than any other, that hooked me on the NY theatre for a lifetime.
My problem is, I've never been able to find a copy -- I guess most of them were destroyed when she left the cast. But if ANYONE out there could give me a clue as to where I could get one, they'd be making a senior theatregoer a VERY happy person. I've tried the usual places -- Triton and others. I usually get a blank stare when I ask. Understandable, since this was in 1957. But it would make me SO happy to have one!!

Dear World is also one of my favorite window cards. Not that I've been lucky enough to come across one, much less at a decent price.
I'd have to say my favorites are: Funny Girl, Mack & Mabel, and Mame.

Posted: 11/5/08 at 10:24pmI happen to really love the Jekyll & HYDE ones. All of them, but I always wished they would have merged the Original one ( the one that the OBCR looks like) with the second one, which is Linda + Bob's HYDE thing. It totally would have looked awesome. Oh well!

Some of my favorites:
LANSBURY GYPSY
THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA
THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED
LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (canceled Broadway revival with Alice Ripley)
And this one caused some stirs, because it's just so silly, in my opinion, as much as I loved the show:
TABOO

Mine is from La Boheme on Broadway. They did three different cards featuring each of the Rudolfo/Mimi's. The moment I saw this one I knew that I had to have it. It has been framed and hanging in my living room since and people comment on it all the time.

My all time favorite...this is a stock photo, but the one I have is signed by 5 cast members, the composers, and the conductor.

The original Caberet and Chicago posters (my first).
I also love the 3 gold metallic posters I found for Bacall in Woman of the Year,
Nicholas Nickleby and Jerome Robbins Broadway. They're gorgeous framed!
