Ok, that's probably a misplaced post.
Any other reviews, comments, stories, about The Witches of Eastwick?

I just stumbled on this as I was reading today birthdays on Wikipedia (Lucie Arnaz, Alexandra in the West End production of Wtiches is 56 today. Happy Birthday!).

It is a very detailed synopsis of the West End production. I found the differences between that production and the one at Signature intriguing (especially the exploding tennis ball). It gives you some idea what this show could be when those elements and the songs are re-incorperated in a possible Broadway run.
Also, I listened to some of the London cast recording on Amazon.com. I am buying this immediately! Hearing the man who would go on to play Al Swearengen on Deadwood singing Dance With the Devil is amazing (and ironic) to me. Ian McShane is a great singer, and I must hear the rest of this recording!

We actually sold the London Cast Recording at the gift shop at the theater. It's ok . . .it's not as great as what you saw at Signature, but it's ok.
BTW, we had an exploding tennis ball but cut it during tech. There were a lot of things that got cut in favor of the larger technical problems we were having with the show. The Little Girl was supposed to be on a swing at the top of show and observe "Eastwick Knows" from about 8 feet off the deck, she was also supposed to have a little scooter, which also got cut. You'll also notice the Felicia and Clyde's deaths were much different in the London Production, but I actually liked The American version better.

Reading the demise of Felicia and Clyde in the London production is interesting. I could see Felicia down and out for the count and if she's going, he is too. I think I still like the ending in the American production better, though. However, I missed Loose Ends a lot. I understand why they cut it but it's just a beautiful song.
