Sadly not. And it's extremely unlikely that the original Cameron Mackintosh production will ever make it across the pond However, I understand that there are still plans to get in staged in North America at some point (whether pro, amateur or a mix of the two), so fingers crossed!

I thought I read somewhere that a few years back there was a workshop with Emily Skinner! I don't remember where I read that, but if that had come to fruition it would have been amazing!

Was this musical based on the movie or the novel? They are quite different from each other, but I'm assuming the movie.

I assumed it had incorporated some of the book. There are things in the musical that don't happen in the movie!
