ITH, there's a reason it took home 4 awards last night.
Would you care to name some recordings that you already have and enjoy? I'm sure we could name you many recordings, but you'd hate most of them.

Woman in White, just for the reason that it is the entire original stage show on the recording. Everything from the scene changes to the songs themselves to Angela Christian's random shrieking!
or if you haven't heard any of it yet, Jekyll & HYDE; Some will tell you the Complete Recording (with Anthony Warlow, Linda Eder & Carolee Carmello), but if you haven't heard ANYTHING of it yet, I'd probably buy the OBCR because Linda Eder, Christiane Noll & Robert Cucioli sound fantastic together. Or if you don't like Jekyll, buy the OBC of The Scarlet Pimpernel...and if you are a Rachel York fan than buy "The Scarlet Pimpernel: Encore" ("1999 RevivalCast"). It's always nice to hear something from all different composers!
But I really have no idea what your into. But you can't go wrong with Patti -- EVITA, Les Mis (London), Sunset Blvd. (London), Sweeney Todd (Broadway Revival)...all great recordings!

Which reminds me, BEATLES, you can always give me the money because I really need it this summer!
You're a Beatles fan? Do you like 60s music? Perhaps Hairspray?

I just bought the 'In the Heights' cast recording and adore it.

Perhaps the $20 might be best spent on a grammar book. You might do well to improve your punctuation and spelling skills.

Petite, have I told you how much I adore you recently?
IN THE HEIGHTS and SOUTH PACIFIC are the two best cast recordings of this past year.

If you like Hairspray and Sweeney Todd, may I suggest buying Little Shop of Horrors?
As soon as I get $20, I'm buying In the Heights. Loved that performance last night.
Try the new South Pacific album. It's great!

"I don't like urban music. In the heights is more of an urban/latino CD."
I'm not a fan of that genre of music either, but ITH is just so good that I forget about it.
IN THE HEIGHTS and SOUTH PACIFIC are both INCREDIBLE ! If you don't mind waiting, I'm sure GYPSY with Patti is going to be phenomenal !!!

On the amazon marketplace get the 3 CD Show Boat box set conducted by John McGlinn, with Frederica von Stade and Jerry Hadley. This one is the original with all the liner notes. There are two listed as "like new" for about $17. shipping will make it about $20.
Well worth it. I bought one awhile ago and "like new" means just that.
