With Weeds coming back July 1st, when is Hunter Parrish Expected To Leave Godspell?

Is it possible he could do both? The last season of Weeds was shot in New York.

The way the story line left off at the end of last season, it time jumps and mary louise parkers character is no longer in NYC, which leads me to believe neither is Hunter Parrish's character .....

Oh, that's right. I forgot they left NYC.

Also, the majority of last season was shot in LA with only select scenes (mainly exteriors) shot in NYC.

He is leaving next month, and they did in fact film most of the season in L.A. so he has to go back.

Unsure about Hunter, but I talked to Justin Kirk at the ODC stage door last sunday afternoon and he said he’s leaving the show on March 25 to go back and continue with Weeds.

I spoke with Hunter just this morning and he told me he'd be leaving GODSPELL "in about 6 weeks or so".

This thread reminds me that I still need to catch GODSPELL, and now have only 6 weeks to do so.
WEEDS was supposed to film in NYC last year, but only exterior shots happened here (including a shot of an apartment building used to indicate Queens which was my grandmother's building adjacent to Coney Island hospital in Brooklyn). Here's hoping the final season is worth the effort to watch.
And Justin was always slated to end his run on March 25th. As it stands, he starts filming a pilot for NBC two days after his final curtain call and then jumps right into WEEDS. Busy, busy actors.

I don't know if the rumors of Kevin Jonas coming in are true, but Nick Jonas was supposed to play Jesus originally. They were in negotiations with him forever and couldn't come to terms, which is when Hunter Parrish came into the picture.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Are you sure it isn't Joe Jonas? Kevin is the brother that has always played guitar and sings back up.

That's presuming there's money left to pay a Jo Bro. Name one show that reports grossing the exact same amount of money two weeks in a row (see link; the top denotes the most recent week and the bottom is the week prior -- to be specific, Godspell's percent change is 1%, with the exact same amount in ticket sales, not a digit out of place).
Cash those checks, investors, because Mr. Davenport's shell game is through; the numbers are being falsified. Wait any longer and they're gonna bounce.
Broadway Grosses: March 5-11

Checked with the bookmakers in Vegas; there are better odds of Billy Graham displaying bilocation growing out of one's @$$hole singing like Lena Horne as a meteorite hits the person in question than the same numbers, two weeks running, in different combinations, ever coming up.

gvendo, your link shows Godspell grossing $289,607 for the week ending March 11, and $279,527 for the week ending March 4. BroadwayWorld has the same numbers.

Gavin Creel was supposed to do it back in '08 ('09?) when they first announced the production.

If Hunter is going to leave soon, I'm glad I saw him when I did.

Why is Gvendo so bitter about this show? It's one thing to dislike a production, but this guy's got nothing but abject hatred for it.

Godspell is a very, very inexpensive show to run, it has made a good profit every week so far!
