So I won the Wicked tour lottery for the second time last night. One of my co-workers really wanted to see it so we gave it a whirl and it paid off! There were well over 200 people there this time so we really didn't think we had a chance...
So if anyone read my review from last weekend, you know that I liked the touring production, but it wasn't amazing.
Uncageg-I don't know if somehow the sound was changed or fixed, but it was MUCH better than last week. There were still some spoken parts that were inaudible, but overall, much improved.
Kendra totally won me over this time! She was by far the most hilarious Glinda ever. It's obvious that there are some adlibs here and there, but has anyone ever seen Glinda tackle Elphaba on the bed during Popular? It was so funny...and seemingly unplanned, as Stephanie couldn't stop laughing. It reminded me of the good ol' team of Idina and Kristen. Also, during Dancing Through Life, Kendra dropped her purse right before her and Fiyero sing to each other, so she had to start singing as she was bending over to pick it up and they both almost lost it.
