it seems to be down that path with the missed perfs and then Westfeldt (i met her and she is an angel in person) leaving the show all of a sudden. It is sad, i saw it and LOVED IT!!!
Even though this probably wont happen, i wish that Donna and Jenn could go on tour with it so that everyone across the U.S. could experience Wonderful Town...
srry for such a long post

I am not myself, but i become a character in itself, to only hope that my transformation is not of me, but of whom i characterize myself to be..

Just wondering about this week at WT: will Nancy Anderson be Eileen? Has Donna Murphy recouperated from illness or still out? I've grown very fond of this show and its current cast and will miss them a lot...

I think it may not close so fast because the new cast will get some attention and people will (hopefully) be curious and go see the show. Who is the mystery actor replacing Jennifer W.? Any news yet?

Will it close? Yes.
When? Who knows...maybe by Christmas, or if they're lucky, in January/February.
But all shows eventually close.

Brooke went to Junior High with me.
We shared home room. She actually is a great singer and a very nice person. Very tall over 6 feet.

I heard that Jennifer Westfeldt will be replaced by Jennifer Hope Wills who is now in Beauty and the Beast as a Belle understudy. She's lovely as can be.

Did you hear this from the garbage man's sister's niece's brother-in-law's friend's lawyer?
Seriously, where did you hear that?

I love how some of you are experts and know when shows will close. Especially when you haven't seen it, bronxboundexpress. Glad to know you have psychic abilities to know whether or not a show sucks without actually seeing it.

Some people are basing it on weekly grosses.

Like me. I saw it the other day and thought it was okay--but if a show is only selling 49%, it won't last too long.

Now, now JRB, I am sure that Bronxbound person was just kidding around, don't you think so? In any event, can't you just give us some good news about this show? Please tell us that Donna is feeling much better and is coming back this week and the show will not close any time soon, OK? Oh, I'd feel so much better knowing that WT is back on track... and I definitely want to see it one more time before Ms. Murphy leaves.

dancinfan - can you tell us where or how you heard about the possible replacement for Jennifer Westfeldt?

Right after Brooke "sings" Conga on the Macy's Day Parade preview show.
So my dear you think you can get to Broadway. Well, let me tell you something. Broadway has no room for people like you. Not the Broadway I know. My Broadway takes people like you and eats them up and spits them out. My Broadway is the Broadway of Merman, and Martin, and Fontaine, and if you think you can build yourself up by knocking other people down... ...GOOD LUCK... Seinfeld

I really don't think you can say a show sucks until you've seen it for yourself. I just saw this show about a month ago and loved it. I think it has not caught on as well as some of the other shows but thought the show was WONDERFUL. Give it a chance and don't say it "Sucks" until you've seen it...

Jennifer Wills IS replacing Jennifer Westfeldt. All of you who criticized dancin, owe an apology
