I just saw the NY Times ad, which clearly say's it's closing.

But this press release was yesterday....

It was a mistake--just went to the Telecharge site, here's what it said:

On Sale Through 11/07/04

Please note: In some editions of Sunday's Newsday and the Sunday New York Times, Wonderful Town is being advertised as performing its last 9 performances. These ads are incorrect, this show is on sale thru November 7!

Chances are, Telecharge has not yet updated their records. If they've announced a closing with a full-page ad in the Times, I highly suspect it's a ticketing error. Telecharge has been known to make mistakes in the past, whereas, Producers don't shell out enough money to buy a brownstone, for a false ad in the NY Times.
