Ok, name some older musicals that should be seen again.
Must be at least 20 years since it was last seen on Broadway, so pre 1983, with cast suggestions(as if you need encouragement!).

Barnum is a bit of a problem show, the central character isn't very engaging. All tricks little substance.

West Side Story! This was previously mentioned, but I think this could be amazing. Again,
Matthew Morrison- Tony
Hunter Foster- Riff
I think they should do new choreography. I don't want to see the exact same thing done 50 years later.

Merrily We Roll Along. With Jason Alexander reprising his role from the 1981 Broadway production, and a cast somewhere in the middle of the age range. With a directorial concept that would work, this time, instead of Hal Prince's misguided genius.

"Easter Parade" starring either Kristen Chenoweth or Megan Mullaly as Hannah Brown. Was that ever even on Broadway? I was just watching the movie (actually I'm watching it now) and I was just thinking how much I would love to see it on Broadway.
"Singin' In the Rain" starring Kate Levering, Gavin Creel, and David Burtka. And Heather Lee can play the one with the annoying voice. LOL She is so great when she does that voice in Gypsy!

I definately want to see Singing in The Rain. I dont think Kate Levering should be cast as Kathy because her singing voice isn't the best. And I heard that Gavin Creel doesnt dance. In his Fresh Face article, he said his 42nd Street audition was a disaster. And I don't know much about David Burtka. Here's my cast:
Kathy: Nadine Isenegger (The current Peggy in 42nd Street-a TRUE triple threat. Fall in love with her every time she dances.
Don Lockwood: David Elder- the current Billy. An excellent tapper, who can really dance. He also has a great voice.

Sunday in the Park with George
If this is not at least 20 years old, my apologies.
I've had this conversation before. If they revived this, would Act II be in the 80's or current time? I would love to see what new set design concept they'd have with the new technology we have.
Chris Sieber - George
Jane Krakowski or Kristin Chenoweth - Dot
