Woud TIME STANDS STILL be considered for a "Play Revival" Tony next year?

Since it ran last season and was eligible for Tonys, I was wondering if TSS would be considered for Tonys for this coming year as a revival (though it opened three months after the closing of the original program)

No. There has to be three years between productions for a show to then be eligible for best revival.

No - to be eligible for revival, a production must be away from Broadway for at least three years.

I'm sure if it were a completely new production, all new designs etc. they could petition the committee for an exception, but even still the chances seem slim at best. But the awards committee does make strange choices sometimes.

Christina Ricci might be deemed eligible, a la the actors from White Christmas last season, but I find even that unlikely.
