Got my hands on a copy of the Playbill early this afternoon.

For anyone wondering, here's the song list:

Anika Larsen, Kenita Miller and Patti Murin understudy Kerry Butler, Curtis Holbrook and Andre Ward understudy James Carpinello, Peter Samuel understudies Tony Roberts, Anika Larsen, Andre Ward, and Annie "Frank Mills" Golden understudy Jackie Hoffman and Mary Testa.

thanks so much for the list. a few questions though. Did you mean to have 80s singers for all of them and what parts does Andre Ward play? Also, are Marty, Patti, and Annie all swings?

Zeus is played by Tony Roberts.

Andre Ward plays Terpsicore, Siren, 80s singer, Hermes, Centaur

Marty Thomas and Patti Murin are the swings.

According to a poster on ATC, Annie is a pit singer as well as an understudy.

Are "Fool" & "Have You Never Been Mellow" new songs composed fo the Xanadu on Broadway? Pardon me, but I am not familiar with ELO's songs. I would appreciate for an answer-J*

Thanks a bunch! Are you getting this from some site or from your playbill, if so please post your site! I'm guessing Peter Samuel is a just an understudy as well. Is a pit singer someone who sings from the pit?

Edit: And am I the only one disappointed not to see Kenita understudy Melpomene? Are Anika, Andre, and Annie understudying both women? Sorry for the seemingly pointless questions, but I organize Broadway theatre in Microsoft Excell (i know i have a problem!) to keep myself better organized so if someone has a casting question, I can readily answer. "Fool," I think has definitely been in the movie. It's sung near the end during the final "Xanadu" sequence, if you're talking about the whole glam-rock/bluegrass number.

"Have You Never Been Mellow" was a huge hit for Olivia Newton-John in 1975, before XANADU was even created.

I do not recall Fool as an ELO or Xanadu song. And "Mellow" seems jarringly out of place with the other tracks.

I do believe that "Fool" was in the movie.


The inclusion of "Evil Woman" is laughable, and not in a good way.

Can someone refresh my memory? I don't recall a song "Fool". Please don't make me re-watch the movie!

Was it an ELO song or an ONJ (John Farrar) song?
