Ok, so I just thought I would take a quick moment to let all of you know that there will be a very special benefit on April 1st in Columbus, Ohio to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the Columbus AIDS Task Force!

Along with special performances throughout the evening, there will be both silent and live auctions and the list of people who have donated things is staggering! The Broadway casts of TARZAN, DROWSY CHAPERONE, THE WEDDING SINGER, SWEENEY TODD, BUTLEY, SPELLING BEE, AVENUE Q, HAIRSPRAY, THE APPLE TREE, have all sent signed items! And that is not all! Julia Roberts, Susan Egan, Darlene Love, Huey Lewis, Cheyenne Jackson, The cast of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, Harry Connick Jr, the Broadway cast of THE PAJAMA GAME, Elton John, Whoopi Goldberg, Patti LuPone, Sutton Foster, Gloria Estefan, Donny Osmond, Jonathon Lloyd Young, the Broadway cast of JERSEY BOYS, Alan Cumming, Ana Gasteyer, the Barenaked Ladies, the Broadway cast of TARZAN, Nellie McKay, Brian d'Arcy James, Cheyenne Jackson, Sharon Stone, and Lady Bunny have all joined in these efforts by sending signed items. And that is not all!

And there is still time to make a donation of a signed item or items to the cause. Send me a message if you would like to help out with the event by sending something to be auctioned!!

I just wanted to share some of the news of some of the items I have received for the auction on April 1. It is all so unbelievable and wonderful--these are just a few things...

*A Dolce & Gabbana suit worn by Elton John in concert

*Stage prop letters from MARY POPPINS sent by Ashley Brown

*Darlene Love sent her LETHAL WEAPON production coat, signed and complete with coffee stains - FABULOUS!

*Angela Pupello, of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, sent a reporter notebook prop from the show, with each piece of paper within signed by every cast member. And not only did each cast member sign it, they also wrote little goofy notes and descriptions about who they are, what they do, and their love for the show...

Almost every cast on Broadway in the last year has sent something to be auctioned off to help raise money for BC/EFA and Columbus AIDS Task Force! I can't wait to tell you all more about this awesome event and the good it will do!
