did i miss it? i have not seen any reviews of Xanadu in Chicago.....
Considering that they'll be there for 6 months, I don't think you missed it.
I haven't seen any personal reviews and, I believe, it is still technically in previews.

It's not fair. They should tour the country not just 2 cities. I want Xanadu In MIAMI, PHILLY, OREGON, TEXAS, ATLANTA, ORLANDO. not just La Jolla and chicago
Shut up you whiney bitch.

i know i didnt miss it. i meant did i miss the reviews on here?
I will be at opening night..
and, yes, we are touring cities, we havent released the cities yet.
A lot of reviews are on the Chicago board. I saw the first performance in Chicago, and it was AWESOME! I can't wait to see it again soon.
I saw the show tonight and it was wonderful! I had some high expectations having seen it in NYC. Stanley and Von Essen were both great. I sat on stage and just had a blast and will probably see it again before it leaves here in May.

fanadu, "we" are touring cities? Are you part of Xanadu?
Yes, the show has a tour booked beyond Chicago with dates starting in the fall.
There are a bunch of reviews on the Chicago board, and the cast/show are made of awesome. Their first preview was Friday the 16th and opening night was Friday the 23rd. Go see it and enjoy the fabulosity that is Xanadu! :)
Opening night is January 28th...
Oops, my bad! My Theater in Chicago professor said that she was going to its opening night and she went on Friday, so I just assumed.
I want to go to Chicago to see "Xanadu", but will it still be playing by the end of June (Chicago Pride & Parade)? from RC in Austin, Texas
I saw it earlier this week and LOVED it! Stanley is fantastic and although no one can ever beat Cheyenne Jackson is those short shorts, Von Essen was good. The sisters were also hilarious. Again, loved it!

They are hoping PLF but it's not certain yet. It got a HUGE write up in today's Chicago Tribune that was a pre-review rave so I imagine the tickets are gonna be selling.
PattiLuPoneFanatic, you just gave me a great idea! Xanadu and Pride! Sounds like a great summer to me.
I was hoping to see this yesterday, but there was only 1 on stage seat, and I was with my cousin.
I LOVED the article in the Trib today. I wonder if they have bigger plans for Chicago... I mean 25th Annual and Altar Boyz had pretty good sit-down runs in that theatre. And I definitely wouldn't mind them staying around for awhile. :)

Fanadu, I knew that its here til May but didnt know there were plans for openendedness. I am very excited by that because I defintily want to come back at least 1 or 2 more times. I had so much fun and having seen the OBC in NY didnt really affect my enjoyment as it has in the past with other shows.
Wait, so the Chicago production IS open-ended?
Lake Zurich, It isnt offical but its looking like it probably will be.

the Chicago Trib review is online. It's an amazing review. They got behind it:
