How did I not know this??? God, I love SpeakEasy!
Well, the Omaha production is almost ready to open! Less than a week now (next Friday). If any of you want to look at some of our promotional pictures or just look around the website, you can go to www.snapproductions.com and take a look. Forgive the, uh. Cheesiness of those shots. A friend of mine said we kind of resemble an after-school special from the early 90's and she's right, but I think our actual production photos will be MUCH better. Tomorrow is our tech Sunday, so I'll finally get an idea of what it will all look like with costumes and lighting! So excited.
Wasn't it rumored that John T. was in a new workshop of "Zanna" a re-worked version that they wanted for Bway?
LOVE BOTH SHOWS! and it is agreed, Anika ROCKS! I am in a show right now with one of Anika's friends and she has been telling me stories and we talked about how ironic she has done Zanna Dont and Xanadu.

My college (Indiana University of Pennsylvania) just did Zanna this spring. It was the first I'd seen it and I loved it! It was so much fun, and they did a great job with it.
If any rumors are true (John T., etc.) I'd love to see it on Broadway someday.

Saw them both and LOVED them both! Just got Anika Larsen to sign my Xanadu book on Sunday at Avenue Q. Here's a clip of the leading men of both shows, Zanna's Jai Rodriguez and Xanadu's Cheyenne Jackson singing a duet - heaven on earth!

It's so odd seeing bertandrew being passionate about something other than vehemently bashing Patti LuPone.
