sutton is definitely an amazing performer. i've seen her tmm and little women, and she can really belt a tune :) yay for sutton, again!
I love Sutton Foster. Since I live far from New York, I have not yet had the opportunity to see Little Woman. My friend said the singing was excellent though. And, being an avid Millie listener, I must say, Sutton has an incredible singing voice. From what I know, she is down to earth too. My singing teacher went to college with her, and although they had different majors and Sutton left after a year, they lived in the dorm, and supposedly she was very friendly and likeable. If anyone deserves to be on Broadway, its Sutton.
So I'll join in:
YAY SUTTON!
I think she's marvelous and if it wasn't such an incredible season and she didn't have competition like Victoria Clark, I'd say she would walk away with the Tony again this year.

Eep!
Sutton isn't married.
Just in love with her SO, Christian Borle who graduated from CMU!
And Sutton does get A LOT of attention.
And she is talented.
And her Gimme, Gimmer ranks as one the top theatrical moments of my life.
She's got the classical belt. Nothing too high, you'll notice.
Just like Merman, or Lansbury.
YAY SUTTON!
I heart her....

YAY SUTTON!
She can never get enough praise in my book.
I've said it before several times here, but seeing this thread, I'd just like to chime in one more time:
Sutton Foster is the greatest performer I have ever seen on stage, a true triple, as much a joy to watch as she is to hear. I adore her every move, and those faces she makes, truly a one of a kind. And all those stories are true, she is just as sweet as she is talented.
I have seen her six times as Millie, and at Lincoln Center in The American Songbook. She could be just as great as a caberet singer and hopefully she will do some more in the future when not doing Broadway.
I also look forward to seeing her in Little Women next month.
Come on guys! We can't let this thread die so soon!
So anyway, I never saw Millie ( ), so I have never seen Sutton REALLY dance. I have just seen her dance the little bits in Little Women and on video clips of TMM. Looking at her, she doesn't really look like a dancer, if you know what I mean. maybe I just have the image of Jo's slouch in my head. I don't know.
But anyway, I am praying Sutton wins the Tony again this year!! I definitely think she deserves it!
i love sutton foster, she is so amazingly talented and seems so sweet. i haven't had the opportunity to see her live yet, but i am seeing little women on wednesday!!!! im SOOO psyched!!!!
Have fun!!! I hope you like it! I personally love it. Sutton is phenomenal in it!
Sutton is one of the most talented people on Broadway. I adore her.

Yea, she's definitely something pretty special. But whoever said she doesn't get enough appreciation on here needs to look around a little more...

I started a sutton appreciation thread a while ago... Anyways, Sutton is truly an amazing performer. Didn't see Millie, but saw her in LW. While the show is mediocre, Sutton is absolutely amazing! Her voice gives me chills. One of the greatest performers of this generation. And, she does get a lot of praise and attention.
sutton's great and i look forward to seeing Little Women!! i LOVE her voice...her rendition of "On My Own" is to die for! and...how about props for having such a cool name too! :)
I LOVE her "on My Own"!!
The LW cast recording is almost here!! *bounces*
I was in tears when she walked on the stage in LW...i'm so emotional..
She is the most amazing female i've ever seen in my life. if sutton opens a show who wants to be her replacement?! not I! that's all i have to say about that...
